Occurrence of Pandemic Avian Ifluenza
Occurrence of pandemic Avian Ifluenza (transmission between humans and already ill
again from birds to man) is worthy of concern because it will bring victims unusually large
Prevent the bird flu is only one key, we must be diligent hand-washing before meals. many people who are still reluctant to simply wash their hands before eating, and all day activities often touch the poultry. to maintain hygiene awareness is closely related to bird flu prevention. especially those that have appealed to residents to maintain the cleanliness of the cattle barn. there are 6 phases of pandemic influenza. First, the absence of a new influenza virus subtypes in humans and there is infection in animals (poultry) with the risk of transmission to humans.
Next, humans infected with a new influenza virus subtype, there is no transmission from human to human or if it happened because a very close relationship. Indonesia has now reached the 3rd phase of this or pandemic alert period.
Furthermore, the fourth phase ie human to human contagion in small clusters and is localized in a small area. Phase-5, a large cluster though it is still localized and the virus begins to adapt to humans.
Last phase, the transmission increased and sustained transmission in humans. Only after that there is a decrease of transmission or post-pandemic period.
